The Villages Group, is a group of peace-loving Palestinians and Israelis that chose to operate in the human sphere: Rather than organize political campaigns or confront settlers or soldiers we feel more effective when we strengthen Israeli-Palestinian personal relationships and work together on projects that organically grow out of these relationships.

"Ta'ayush" (Arabic for "life in common") is a grassroots movement of Arabs and Jews working to break down the walls of racism and segregation by constructing a true Arab-Jewish partnership. A future of equality, justice and peace begins today, between us, through concrete, daily actions of solidarity to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and to achieve full civil equality for all Israeli citizens.

Hanan Levy, is a good friend of ours and helped us a lot with all things renewable. His website: http://www.galgalyarok.org/ has a wealth of information on various green issues relating to Israel, both technical and regulatory.

Scoraig Wind Electric. Hugh Piggott of Scoraig Wind Electric enjoys a "Guru" status among home brew wind turbine aficionados. Noam went to scoraig to learn about the design and construction of wind turbines and enjoys the help of Mr. Piggott to this very day. His website is a treasure trove for the do-it-yourself small-wind enthusiast.

Otherpower.com is a group of hard core renewable energy enthusiasts based in Colorado. These guys talk the talk and walk the walk. Don't even think about building a renewable energy system of your own without visiting this website.

BlueEnergy is a nonprofit organization that provides a sustainable solution to the energy needs of marginalized communities through the construction, installation, and maintenance of hybrid wind and solar electric systems. BlueEnergy works in Nicaragua.
